Army.ca is a free service for anyone with an interest in Canada's military. The site includes discussion forums, a photo gallery, quotes, a custom-developed game based in Afghanistan, a chat room, user editable Wiki, monthly contests and much more. Army.ca has also developed several free and paid military applications for the mobile market.
Serving members often use Army.ca to stay in touch with their loved ones while deployed. Junior ranks use it to pass ideas up the chain of command and senior ranks use it to get a sense for the "general feeling" on issues facing Canada's military.
Army.ca's users have created an close-knit community where new recruits, seasoned veterans and interested civilians can share information and opinions in ways not previously possible.
